Yellia H. Seanor

In her role supporting the Associate Provost for Graduate Education, Yellia brings a strong corporate background to George Mason, having worked in the headquarters of GE Equity and Playtex Apparel supporting VP’s and SVP’s. Fluent in both English and Mandarin, her most recent role was with Fairfax County Public Schools as a Mandarin Interpreter and Registrar helping to assist Mandarin speaking parents with school related issues through parent-teacher conferences and Special Education related meetings.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Finance from Sacred Heart University as well as a degree in Hotel Management and Food and Beverage from César Ritz Colleges Switzerland. After graduating from César Ritz, Yellia entered the hospitality industry, supporting the Director of Sales and Marketing at a full-service hotel in Stamford, Connecticut.

Immigrating from Taiwan, Yellia has lived in Connecticut, California, and Virginia. She is married with two daughters, one at the University of Pittsburgh and the youngest at Robinson Secondary School in Fairfax. She enjoys sailing with her husband, gardening in her spare time, and vacationing Down East at the family cottage.
